JOB IN THE FUTURE

In this day and age, the development of technology is increasingly sophisticated and very rapid as it is that many jobs are minimal in demand by the community so that they are threatened with loss. In addition, there are also some jobs that are in great demand by the community and are needed in the future. It cannot be denied that today's technological developments have a major influence on life and can create competition.

Here are some jobs that are threatened with loss due to the development of the times and technology, namely:

1. Postal Officers (the number of postal workers is currently decreasing due to technological developments. Correspondence no longer has to be physical because through email one can get documents, data, responses without having to wait for the arrival of the postman. In terms of efficiency and effectiveness, this is very helpful for humans who need documents or information quickly)

2. Cashiers and counters (in the next few years, robots and technology are predicted to replace cashier workers. As a result of this automation, the share of jobs lost in the retail sector could be greater than manufacturing)

Electricity savings need to be done for reasons of equity. Not all Indonesians can use electricity because not all areas are covered by it due to several reasons. Seeing the condition of Indonesia's electricity, there are still many areas that have not been electrified, or it could be said that there are still many areas that are experiencing an electricity crisis. At the end of 2014, Indonesia's electrification ratio reached 84.35% and has increased to 86.39% this September. Even though it has increased, this ratio is still lower than neighboring countries such as Singapore, which is already 100%, Brunei Darussalam, 99.7%, Thailand, 99.3%, Malaysia, 99%, and Vietnam, 98%. Nationally, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources claims that saving 10% is easier to do than building an energ...
